Press reports off the mark

AS A member of the Advantage franchise I would like to respond to your comment that the Advantage franchise deal had been badly handled (Travel Weekly February 3).

The only thing that has been badly handled is the way in which the newspapers have seen fit to report the last three months’ progress. Would it be very wicked of me to suggest that very many people out there (not, of course, the media) have a lot to gain by seeing the failure of the franchise scheme.

Sorry to disappoint them, but it rather looks like they have lost, together with those Advantage members who, for whatever reasons, chose not to go along this path.

I look forward with a great deal of excitement to the coming months.
