Join Fred. Olsen for the Fleet in Funchal.
On Thursday 9th November 2023, all-three ships in the Fred. Olsen fleet will sail into Madeira, Portugal, and dock together as part of our historic Fleet in Funchal event.
The day promises to be packed full of celebrations with entertainment on the quayside and crew competitions, creating a vibrant carnival atmosphere both on board and ashore.
What’s more, you can enter to be a part of this exciting event and join an exclusive VIP Educational with two places up for grabs. You’ll have the opportunity to experience Fred. Olsen’s smaller ships firsthand and learn more about what makes us different.
Join Borealis for 6 nights to visit the Azores, Madeira and Portugal, as well as Balmoral for 5 nights from 6th November and visit the Canaries, Madeira and Portugal.

Terms and conditions
The competition will run from 1st October to 13th October 2023, inclusive.
Winner will be drawn at random and notified on or before 16th October.
Prize is non-transferable and is for selected dates only – Sunday 5th to Saturday 11th November 2023 for Borealis, Monday 6th to Saturday 11th November 2023 for Balmoral, for two prizewinners only. Sailings will be allocated at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ discretion.
Prize includes flights from London Heathrow/Gatwick
Prize is for a Balcony Suite on Borealis, and a Superior Suite on Balmoral.
Prize winner will be responsible for their own transport to / from the port and their on board account.
Entrants must be over 18, be a registered UK travel agent and hold, and be in possession of a valid passport, with a minimum of six months validity from the date of return. It should also contain several blank pages suitable for entry stamps if required.
