Air Transat launches month-long seat sale

Air Transat has launched a seat sale on flights between the UK and Canada as the market picks up.

The airline is offering return fares on its direct flights from Gatwick to Toronto and Montreal from £329 and to Quebec City from £359, including taxes and fees.

The sale runs until February 10 and offers reduced prices for flights on routes between the UK and Canada for travel on selected dates between March and June this year.

As well as direct flights out of Gatwick to Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City, the airline offers flights from Manchester and Glasgow to Toronto, with onward connecting services to Calgary, Montreal and Vancouver.

The airline is allowing the date and destination of bookings to be changed for no fee up to 24 hours prior to departure if travel plans change, with passengers only required to pay the fare difference, if any.

Flights are on the airline’s all-Airbus fleet, including the new A321neoLR aircraft, which the company says has the lowest environmental impact in its class and will help it to fufil its commitment to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
