Best Workplaces in Travel extends entry deadline

The Best Workplaces in Travel awards scheme has extended its entry deadline until March 18 to give more companies a chance to get involved.

A statement from the organisers said entries were “flying in right up until the last minute” so the extension was announced “due to popular demand”.

New entrants this year include Travel Counsellors, Key Travel, Steppes Travel and Stewart Travel Group. However, some entrants prefer not to be named at this point.

Previous entrants easyJet Holidays, G Adventures and Panache Cruises have entered for the three consecutive years.

Once registered, companies have until May 3 to complete the employee survey.

This survey provides travel companies with critical insights about the key issues and drivers for people working in the travel industry.

There will be an awards reception on the evening of June 10 to recognise and celebrate the top performers in the travel industry.

Earlier on that day, Best Workplaces in Travel will partner with Travel Weekly for the third annual Travel Weekly People Summit.

The half-day conference will be hosted by Deloitte at its central London offices, ahead of the awards ceremony at the offices of Grant Thornton that evening.

Best Workplaces in Travel was founded by industry recruitment specialist Gail Kenny in 2022 and consists of an annual employee engagement survey and awards.
