A new route linking Liverpool with Madrid is being introduced as part of Ryanair’s winter schedule.
The airline will run four flights a week to the Spanish capital from November.
A spokesperson said: “We look forward to welcoming our Liverpool customers onboard our flights to/from Madrid this winter as Ryanair continues to deliver more traffic, connectivity, and lower fares than any other airline for the UK.
“As Ryanair continues to grow across Europe, we are pleased to provide even more route choice at the lowest fares to Liverpool customers/visitors for winter ’23-’24 with this new route from Liverpool to Madrid, operating four times weekly from November.”
The new service from Merseyside followed the no-frills carrier reporting 17.4 million passenger carryings in September, a year-on-year rise of 9%.
