Tui Airways says food and drink will be served on its flights, in a U-turn from the advice it issued over the weekend.
The airline previously told passengers flying on short- and mid-haul flights they should bring their own food and drink on board as it was suffering from staff shortages in its catering supplier, so refreshment services would be limited.
However, it has now said the issue has been resolved and passengers can once again access the whole on board catering service.
An updated statement on the Tui website reads: “We can confirm that the issue has now been resolved and the catering offer on board our flights will resume as normal from [today].
“We know how much our customers value the ability to purchase food and drinks on board and we thank them for their patience and understanding.”
