Amazing Algarve
The city of Faro, capital of the Algarve, is bursting with history, and its Old Town is packed with churches, monuments and squares. Three medieval gates lead to a maze of cobbled streets where visitors will find Faro Cathedral, the Bishop’s Palace and Arco de Vila.

Awesome Alentejo
Windswept beaches, colourful villages and rugged landscapes define Portugal’s Alentejo coast. The resort area of Troia is the perfect break from the city, where visitors will find one of Portugal’s longest beaches. And it’s just an hour’s drive from Lisbon, then a scenic ferry ride from Setúbal.
The year-round mild weather is perfect for enjoying the area’s activities, from birdwatching to catamaran cruises on the Arrábida coast. There are also picturesque cycling paths, historic Roman ruins and Troia Golf, one of Portugal’s premier golf courses, ensuring there’s something for all interests.
Magical Madeira
The verdant archipelago of Madeira is perfect for nature lovers seeking a rejuvenating break. Walking along levadas – the historic irrigation channels found on Madeira Island – is an excellent way to explore.
Some of the most popular routes include Levada das 25 Fontes, which visits springs and waterfalls, and the Levada do Furado, which leads to spectacular views over the Ribeiro Frio Valley. Madeira’s levada walks are perfect for immersing visitors in nature and pair perfectly with a visit to a spa in the city of Funchal.
