Advantage cruise conference to take place on Uniworld’s Joie de Vivre

Uniworld ship Joie de Vivre will host The Advantage Travel Partnership’s 2023 cruise conference in November, it has been announced.

The consortium revealed at its annual conference in Benidorm today (May 22) that the event will take place on the vessel while it is docked in Paris between November 18-20.

Jonny Peat, commercial manager at Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “We hosted our inaugural cruise conference last year onboard Virgin Voyages in Ibiza and it was an outstanding success.

“For this year’s event, there will be more of a luxury focus and we will be onboard one of Uniworld’s luxury river ships, supporting our ongoing strategy to expand our members’ knowledge of this sector of cruise and its growing popularity.”

The full agenda, due to be announced in the coming weeks, will provide delegates with the opportunity to learn more about the luxury cruise sector while giving them an immersive taste of the Uniworld brand, said Advantage.

Luxury trade partners across ocean, river and expedition cruising will also attend the conference, giving members the chance to network and build relationships.

Angela Sloan, Uniworld head of sales for UK and Europe, said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Uniworld will be hosting the Advantage Cruise Conference in November 2023.

“Agents will have the exclusive opportunity to immerse themselves in the luxury experiences of river cruising as we gather in the beautiful city of Paris.

“With each Uniworld ship boasting a unique boutique design, we look forward to welcoming Advantage agents onboard and highlighting the extraordinary Uniworld difference.”

Advantage will deliver the event alongside Clia, which will have a representative at the event.
