Dnata Travel Group UK & Europe chief executive Ailsa Pollard is to leave the business.
A statement from the company confirmed Pollard will depart in February 2024, with a replacement announced “in due course”.
Pollard’s predecessor John Bevan, current chief executive of dnata Travel Group’s global operation, will support the UK and European markets during the transition to new leadership, the statement added.
Pollard took on the role in November 2021, reporting into Bevan who was promoted to divisional senior vice-president for travel.
Prior to becoming chief executive, Pollard held a range of senior roles over 12 years with the company, including vice-president of business development and strategy and senior vice-president of Emirates Holidays.
Immediately before her appointment she headed dnata Travel’s consumer brand in the UAE and oversaw a strategic review of the group’s global portfolio as senior vice-president – transformation (global) & consumer businesses (ME&I).
The company said: “We can confirm that Ailsa Pollard, CEO – dnata Travel Group, UK and Europe has resigned from the company. Her replacement will be announced in due course, with Ailsa’s leave date scheduled for February 2024.
“In transition, John Bevan, CEO of the dnata Travel Group’s global operation will be on-hand to support these markets to lead our teams with a continued focus on supporting our customers with best-in-class, innovative travel services and products.
