The Personal Travel Consultants in partnership with Blue Bay Travel (PTCs) has appointed Kerry Jones as team mentor to help new staff onboard quickly.
The PTCs has scheduled a series of recruitment drives on June 19, August 21 and October 16 and has brought in Jones to assist in the training and development of new hires.
Jones will also work alongside sales manager Abbie Heaton to improve the agency’s onboarding process.

Jones, who joined the PTCs in July 2022, began her career in travel as an intern at Going Places before holding positions at Courtesy Travel and Your Co-op Travel.
“I’m delighted to be supporting the PTCs through their next growth spurt,” she said.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming more new faces in the future and I’ll be there to onboard the agents, support Abbie and help build on the success of this dynamic homeworking business.”
Heaton said: “I’m delighted we’ve developed Kerry’s role within the PTCs. Having joined in 2022, Kerry truly understands what it’s like to start afresh as a homeworker and is perfectly placed for this mentor role.
“This is well deserved and undoubtedly reflects Kerry’s hard work and tenacity.
“As a mentor, Kerry will have the opportunity to inspire and guide new recruits, helping them become valued members of the team.
“Her experience and knowledge of the travel industry will prove invaluable to those she trains.
“We’re fortunate to have someone of Kerry’s calibre and we wish her the best in this exciting new chapter with the PTCs.”
Heaton added: “As many businesses backtrack on previous flexible working arrangements and push to get staff back into the offices and shops, we expect to see an uptick in applications.”
