Classic Collection Holidays is offering holidaymakers the chance to see the likes of Bryan Adams, Kim Wilde and Tony Hadley live in Majorca this summer.
The operator has teamed up with Iberostar Hotels & Resorts and music promoter Legends VIP to offer packages including tickets to open-air concerts at the centre court of Mallorca Country Club and more intimate ‘picnic concerts’ at Golf d’Andratx at Camp de Mar between June and August.
Other headline acts include Bob Geldof, the Boomtown Rats and Foreigner.
Packages are available through Classic Collection for bookings made at Iberostar’s Grand Portals Nous, Selection Playa de Palma and Selection Jardin Del Sol Suites.
Classic Collection’s agency sales and marketing director Si Morris-Green said: “We’re delighted to have been selected by Iberostar and Legends VIPS as their exclusive UK partner for these unique summer events.
“The concerts promise evenings of rock, pop and blues nostalgia from some iconic names of the music industry, and will doubtless be a popular addition to our Mallorca programme.
“It’s rewarding to drive early bookings to our agent and hotel partners by offering an exclusive sales proposition through a highly respected hotel and resort brand.”
Iberostar Hotels & Resorts director of luxury sales for Europe Geraldine Gomboshaw said: “To be able to offer an intimate concert experience with truly loved artists, in unique venues, combined with a stay in one of our luxury Majorca properties is a historic moment for Iberostar Hotels & Resorts.
“Showcasing the beauty and culture that the island has to offer, and not overlooking our passion for the environment, these events will be the first sustainable concerts on the island in line with our Wave of Change values, making this a proud moment for all involved.”
Concerts start from June 14 with 1980s pop icon Kim Wilde, who joins forces with British-American rock band Foreigner.
Seven nights at Iberostar Selection Jardin Del Sol Suites on a B&B basis starts at £879 including private transfers, return flights and tickets. Bryan Adams headlines in July, with Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats, Tony Hadley, and Richard Marx due to appear in August.
