Explore loyalty scheme extended to family members

Explore Worldwide has announced a new offer that allows customers to share their loyalty programme benefits with family members.

The operator will allow customers signed up to the scheme to share their discounts and benefits with direct relatives who are booking with Explore for the first time.

The Pass It On policy also enables agents with customers who are repeat bookers with Explore to share their discount with their own family members.

The agent will just need to quote ‘Pass It On’ when making the booking, as well as the name of the customer.

“This is another great way for travel agents to attract new customers,” said Ben Ittensohn, director of global sales.

“Explore travellers are able to share their love for Explore with their families. A fast-track into the loyalty programme means that new customers are immediately welcomed into the Explore family via their association with an existing member.”

He added: “We’ve also increasingly been hearing from agents that their customers who, for one reason or another, can’t travel at the moment, or whose travelling days are behind them.

“Now agents can encourage them to share their love of travel with their families, and perhaps explore vicariously through them.”
