The specialist long-haul operator has promoted head of key accounts Paula Martin to head of sales. She has been with the company more than 25 years.

The company has also recruited Amanda Basnett-Jones, who has been taken on in the role of sales executive to support the operator’s travel agent partners. She previously worked as account manager at Booking.com.

The company also recently took on Darren McCormick as head of reservations. He previously worked at Oman Air, Eithad, Travel Counsellors, and Gold Medal.

The company has made a raft of other appointments including Michelle Mittens as travel specialist, Jade Rourke as after-sales executive and Maria Garcia as marketing executive.

Managing director Daniel Gathercole said: “We are extremely lucky to have recruited some very talented staff.

“Darren comes with a wealth of experience and came highly recommended. I am also pleased for Paula as she been in the business over 25 years and is so well respected both with our staff and with our agents.

“Amanda also came highly recommended and will help improve trade communications. We are still looking for new staff though as demand increases ahead of peaks.”
