Hurtigruten Group has shown its commitment to sustainability and waste reduction with the debut of an exhibition stand made from repurposed materials.
The group created the stand in partnership with experience agency Pie Factory using reclaimed waste plastics and discarded fishing nets.
It said the stand was a “small but important step” in the group’s journey to ensuring its products are respectful to the natural environment.

The stand was unveiled at The Sustainability Show 2022 in London where the managing director of the Hurtigruten Foundation Henrik Lund spoke about planning a sustainable holiday and what makes a greener vacation.
Ant Daniels, UK general manager at Hurtigruten Group, said: “What better place to debut our 100% sustainable stand than here?
“This small but important step is part of a much bigger commitment to working with the best green technology providers to ensure our products are safer and more respectful towards nature, wildlife and the communities we visit.
“We’re extremely fortunate to explore the most unique destinations in the world and we strive to do this in a more sustainable and meaningful way.
“With that in mind, I’m hugely excited to see this stand reused for many years to come.”
Nick Marks, founder of Pie Factory, said: “Creating a space that showcases the wonderful world of Hurtigruten Group and aligns with their values and vision of a sustainable future is a project we are incredible proud to have been a part of.”
