Ramble Worldwide has named former Shearings Holidays managing director Jane Atkins as a non-executive director as part of the brand’s new trade distribution strategy.
The appointment, which is Wayne Perks’ first since he became Ramble Worldwide managing director last month, will see Atkins helping to target selected agents and partners.
She said: “I’m looking forward to using my years of trade distribution experience to help forge closer ties with agents ahead of the key Q1 sales push. I’m so excited to be joining the business during this new and exciting phase.”

Atkins’ trade distribution experience includes a number of senior sales and product development roles at Superbreak, which ceased trading in 2019.
Perks said: “I am delighted to welcome Jane to the board. Ramble Worldwide will certainly benefit from her experience in the travel industry as a senior director.
“This will be invaluable in our growth journey as we expand the business and develop new audiences for those who wish to explore the beauty of the world on foot.”
Ramble Worldwide offers more than 300 holidays across six continents, with trips divided into four collections – Classic, Discover, Adagio and Self-Guided.
