Red Sea Holidays to join Tipto in bid to build trade relationships

Red Sea Holidays is to join Tipto for its 25th year – the fifth new member to announce it is joining the trade marketing association in recent weeks.

The tour operator, which joins on September 1, aims to use the organisation to build key relationships with travel agents and update agents’ knowledge of its product portfolio.

It follows news that Ambassador Cruise Line, DriveAway, Yalago and USAirtours are all joining Tipto next month. Tipto currently has 20 members.

The Egypt specialist offers holidays to Sharm el-Sheikh; Hurghada; and Makadi Bay as well as Nile cruises. It offers regional departure points and added benefits such as complimentary late check out.

National trade manager Nicky Bird said: “Tipto is renowned within the travel industry for the amazing support it gives agents and, as agents are at the heart of our business, we are excited to see where this partnership takes us.

“The team is looking forward to meeting agents personally at the roadshow and training events and we hope to forge many long-lasting relationships.”

She added she was confident Tipto would provide the “catalyst” for agents to learn more about the operator.

Tipto chairman Richard Forde said: “A huge welcome to Red Sea Holidays, we are delighted to have the team and their specialist knowledge of Egypt join the Tipto portfolio.

“Red Sea brings a new dynamic to our supplier member offering and with such strong credentials, I’ve no doubt our agents will reap the benefits of the team’s training content and live roadshow attendance.”
