Riviera Travel returns to Irish market

Riviera Travel has re-opened its European river cruise and selected tours product to the Irish market.

The escorted tours and river cruise specialist exited the market in 2020 because of the pandemic and effects of Brexit.

Riviera’s 2024 and recently launched 2025 river cruise programmes are now on sale to Irish holidaymakers, covering Europe’s main waterways such as the Seine, Rhone, Rhine, Douro and Danube.

Dedicated departures for solo travellers are available, along with new themed cruises for 2025.

Seven European itineraries from Riviera’s touring portfolio are also on sale, with plans to expand the programme over the next 12 months.

The programmes, available in euros, will be bookable through www.rivieratravel.ie and the Riviera Agents trade booking platform.

The market will be managed by Vicky Billing, head of partnerships, with the support of a dedicated trade team.

Stuart Milan, Riviera Travel channel director, said: “We’re eager to welcome Irish guests back onboard our European river cruises and tours, and want to thank local agents for all their support as we return to the market.”

All river cruise departures include return flights with regional airport options available at no additional cost.

The tours include return flights with regional airport options.
