Solmar Villas has invested £1 million in its biggest ever TV advertising campaign to boost sales during the peaks selling period.
The villa specialist, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024, has partners with Channel 4 as it eyes expansion.
The campaign will launch on Boxing Day with adverts to be featured at peak viewing times during some of the channel’s most popular shows such as Gogglebox, The Great Pottery Throwdown and The Last Leg.
Sharon Bradbury, Solmar’s sales and marketing director, said: “This is a huge investment by Solmar and by far the biggest TV campaign we have ever run.
“It forms part of a wider strategy and investment to establish Solmar as a household name in 2024 and people’s number one go-to villa company for all their holidays, whether it be winter sun, summer sun, family fun or a holiday of a lifetime that they’re after.
“The whole team is excited to see Solmar featured on national television and we’ve secured some terrific spots at prime viewing times.
“January is always our busiest month of the year with people planning their getaways for the new year and we look forward to supporting our existing agents and, of course, new ones.”
The company has acquired more than 450 villas as a result of the recent closure of the James Villas brand and will start the 2024 holiday season with more than 2,000 properties in its European and US portfolio.
To celebrate its 30th year, Solmar has launched an offer for travel agents to win a Solmar Villa Voucher worth up to £750 in a special prize draw.
The offer is applicable for bookings made in January and February by a registered travel agent.
Agents must email tradesales@solmarvillas.com with their booking reference and contact details to enter.
Based in Burton-on-Trent, Solmar was created by John and Maria, the parents of chief executive Julie Blake, after they bought their own villa and started to rent it out.
