Club Med in the UK saw business volume growth of four per cent year-on-year to €68 million in the first half of 2024.
The UK remains the second biggest market in Europe for the all-inclusive resort operator, behind France and followed by Belgium.
Club Med UK saw winter mountain business of €56 million.
Business volume for long-haul destinations, including Indian Ocean, Caribbean and southeast Asia, rose by 9% to €5 million over the first six months in 2023.
Overall customer numbers handled by the Chinese Fosun Tourism Group-owned company grew by 2% to more than 778,000.
Total profit [ebitda] was up to €244 million from €228 million based on business volume up by nine per cent to €1.15 billion.
Resorts operating income of €139 million was up 11% compared to the already record-breaking first half of 2023, according to the company.
Club Med aims to open nine new resorts by 2026, including Club Med Borneo, Malaysia next year and its first beach and safari resort near Durban in South Africa in 2026.
More than 16 extensions or renovations of existing resorts are planned, while studying other opening opportunities, focusing on the Caribbean, Middle East, southeast Asia and mountain destinations in France and around the world.
