Three Cunard ships are be positioned in destinations directly along the path of the next solar eclipse.
Flagship Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and new ship Queen Anne will enable passengers to view the celestial event on August 12, 2026.
They deployment was unveiled in the wake of this week’s solar eclipse.
QM2 will be making an overnight stay in Reykjavik as part of a 14-night Norway and Iceland cruise.
Queen Victoria is due to be leaving Tarragona in Spain at the time and Queen Anne will have just been at the northern Spanish port of La Coruna.
Cunard president Katie McAlister said: ”Watching a total solar eclipse from sea is an utterly unique and very rare experience.
“Cunard is therefore thrilled to offer three remarkable voyages positioned along the path of the 2026 eclipse, which will give guests the chance to witness this extraordinary phenomenon from the water, an unforgettable moment observed from the luxurious vantage point of our Queens.”
