French tour operator Worldia pitches to UK agents after gaining Atol

French tour operator Worldia is inviting UK agents to start using its “revolutionary” booking platform after being approved for an Atol.

The Paris-headquartered company enables agents to create tailor-made trips, using real-time pricing and availability, with a catalogue totalling more than 800,000 products.

The brand claims it can save agents time and boost their sales conversion by allowing quotes to be created “in just a few clicks”.

Business development manager Dave Pope (pictured) said: “For those seeking to embrace the future of travel booking, I urge you to seize this opportunity and join the Worldia revolution.”

Pope, formerly Not Just Travel’s head of sales and training, said the Atol was secured earlier this month.

He added he is looking forward to speaking to more travel agents and consortia over the coming weeks and months in a bid to introduce greater numbers to Worldia, which previously operated in France, Germany and Spain before being rolled out to the US at the start of this year.

“I’m excited because I’m confident this will change the way that travel agents book holidays,” said Pope, who believes the platform will dramatically reduce the time it takes to book a trip.

“The most precious thing we have in business and life is time,” he said. “If you can book more holidays in less time, that agency or homeworker is going to have a better business.”

The tour operator, founded in 2013, offers a white-label travel planner featuring more than 85 destinations.

The company’s Berlin-based customer service team can be contacted by agents 24/7, Pope said.
