Sandals Resorts’ business development manager Gary Atwell has clocked up 20 years at the company – bringing the total served by the UK sales team to almost 133 years collectively.
Atwell, responsible for increasing agency sales in Scotland, Cumbria, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland, Cleveland, Durham and northern Ireland, started at Sandals as sales manager in 2001.
His long service follows several recent milestones in the UK sales team, including business development manager Lorraine Adams, who celebrated 20 years at the company last year, and director of sales Leah Marshall, who marked 25 years in November last year.
Agency sales manager Vanessa Barrow is due to celebrate 25 years at Sandals in 2022 along with business development managers Neil Read and Faye Read who will have been with the company 15 years next year.
Atwell said: “It’s been a true pleasure working for the company and I hope I can continue on for another 20-years.”
In total, 60% of the business development and agency sale teams combined have been at the company for more than a decade.
