Intrepid Travel has claimed the biggest sales day in its 33-year history.
The B Corp certified leader in responsible travel achieved the record on Tuesday (November 22), which was also the best booking day in the UK since January 2020.
This came during its cyber sale where discounts of up to 25% are offered.
Top-selling destinations booked in the UK so far are Costa Rica, Vietnam and Morocco.
The record day comes as the business continues to expand its UK trade team as it targets further growth.
Carrie Grant (pictured left) joins as senior partnerships manager with more than 10 years of travel industry experience, including as a business development manager at APT Touring.
Molly Cofman-Nicoresti (right) joins as industry partnerships manager, bringing marketing and sales experience from previous roles at Latin Routes and Travellocal.
Intrepid has also expanded its UK sales team, with 10 new adventure specialists joining since last month.
UK and Ireland general manager Hazel McGuire hailed the record booking day as “an incredible result and shows travel really is back, for good”.
She added: “There’s huge demand for sustainable, experience-rich travel. Customers are more aware of the impact travel can have on people and the planet and want to make sure they’re being responsible travellers.
“We are still seeing consumers prioritising spending on travel, despite the cost of living rising. They’re looking for those trips which offer great value and experiences so they can get the most out of their adventures.”
