Latin America specialist Latin Routes is introducing a raft of employee benefits in a bid to increase the size of its workforce.
In the last year the tour operator has expanded the number of staff in a return to pre-pandemic levels.
It is now on a recruitment drive to further increase its current 30 employees by a further seven staff for roles including travel specialists for its brands Latin Routes and Polar Routes as well as other jobs including HR manager and finance manager.
In a bid to attract new talent the company is increasing annual leave from 22 days to 24 days, plus giving staff a day off for their birthday.

Other changes made by the company include an increase in the fam trip allowance for staff from five to 10 days, plus free travel insurance, one volunteering day a year, additional holiday allowances to reward long service, a workplace nursery benefit, a one-off bonus and remote working opportunities as well as other staff discounts and benefits.
Co-founder and director Martin Johnson said: ‘We are so proud to be in the fortunate position that we have been able to build our team back to what it was before the pandemic hit.
“This is an incredible milestone for us, but now we’re looking to take it a step further with extra travel specialists in the sales teams for both of our brands, Latin Routes and Polar Routes, as well as other core operational areas of the business.
“As part of this, and to attract new talent, we recently reviewed our current suite of benefits and have introduced some improvements. We see these additions to our company benefits as a great way to reward our long serving staff and entice the best talent into roles at Latin and Polar Routes.”
