A third MSC Cruises ship is to operate from the US with the arrival of MSC Meraviglia.
The vessel is the first to be deployed by the European line to run year-round cruises from New York City.
The 5,700-capacity ship will depart from the Brooklyn cruise terminal on a series of itineraries to the Bahamas and Florida, Bermuda and Canada and New England.
The mix of itineraries, ranging from 6-to 11-nights, have been designed to take advantage of New York’s geographic position to cover the Caribbean during the spring and winter, Bermuda in the summer and Canada in the autumn.
The company is offering cruise and stay packages with up to three days pre-cruise hotel accommodation including a free guided tour through Manhattan.
MSC Meraviglia joins MSC Seascape sailing from Miami and MSC Seaside from Port Canaveral.
