New activities, including a photography masterclass, are being introduced by Tui Blue and Tui clubs for children this summer
The ‘Mini Memory Makers’ photography sessions will see little those aged 3-6 provided with cameras and put in charge of capturing family holiday images.
The initiative includes 24 free prints shipped home via PhotoBox.
The photography activity will be trialled at three resorts over the Easter holidays – Tui Blue Orquidea and Tui Blue Flamingo Beach in the Canary Islands, and Tui Blue Aeneas in Cyprus.
Wellness activities for under 3s feature new baby spas designed to promote relaxation, sensory development and bonding between parents and toddlers.
Another new wellbeing session takes inspiration from the popular children’s book The Lion Inside, combining movement, yoga-inspired poses and singing.
Little Ravers is a new neon bubble dance experience for families where favourite nursery music will be given a techno beat, helping to promote sensory learning and physical development, according to the company.
Additional activities for children over three include silent discos and family fun runs.
Children aged 3-12 can join in with ‘Professor Slime’s Lab Mishap’, while tech-powered activities range from QR code treasure hunts, shadow chasers riddle quests and escape from space missions.
Senior childcare customer experience manager Mira Kietzmann said: “We’re very excited to be introducing a range of new activities into our kids’ club programme this summer, a true highlight is our Mini Memory Makers masterclass.
“Tui Blue’s new research revealed that 63% of adults believe printed photos are more meaningful than digital ones and also uncovered a clear desire from parents to get children involved with documenting family moments.
“That’s why we decided to put the kids in charge of the family photo album and help bring the tactile experience of memory making to the forefront of holiday moments. We can’t wait to see what our little snappers capture.”
