Celebrity Cruises has bolstered its sales team by welcoming four new members of staff.
The up-market line said the new appointments ensure that the brand “continues to foster outstanding trade partnerships ahead of a milestone year”.
The addition of a further sales executive sees Celebrity Cruises grow its office-based team who support the team on the road.
Kat Hulatt joins as a trade support executive having previously worked in the Celebrity Cruises UK and Ireland trade-dedicated call centre.
This summer Janna Thomson will return to the role of inside sales manager, supporting agent partners on the telephone.
Thomson has past experience of the role having provided maternity leave cover as inside sales manager last year.
Celebrity said she leaves her former customer services manager role with Celebrity Cruises for the full-time world of sales due to popular demand from Celebrity Cruises’ agent partners.
On the road, Michael Young Richards is now the regional sales manager for the north west and joins from Do Something Different where he was a business development manager for over two years.
He was previously a sales and store manager at Kuoni, and both sales and superstore manager at Tui. He brings over 20 years of experience in the travel industry to the role.
The new appointments come after Valerie Murphy joined as strategic account manager in Ireland earlier this year.
Nicola McNeish, head of sales, Celebrity Cruises UK & Ireland said: “These appointments demonstrate our continued investment in talent.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to agents we’ve increased the amount of office-based support available, in addition to new energetic sales team members throughout the UK and Ireland.
“I’d like to wish Michael, Valerie and Kat the best of luck in their new roles, and warmly welcome back Janna to the team. With the launch of Celebrity Edge at the end of this year, our sales team are looking forward to working closely with agents to showcase modern luxury cruising at its best”.
