Bedsonline has confirmed its new sales team for UK and Ireland following the inclusion of TravelCube’s product portfolio.
The accommodation and travel services provider has around 170,000 hotels – up from 55,000 – for agents to choose from.
The apponitments are: Linda Morris, key account manager south west; Nicola McCreadie, senior sales executive; Jamie Law, key account manager north; Emma Foran, key account manager north.
A further appointment is due to be announced next week.
The new appointments will take the sales team from seven to 12.
Carlos Feliu will continue as retail travel agents director for Iberia, UK and Ireland, while Tom Bell will remain as regional manager for north and central UK and Ireland and Laura Smith for the south UK.
Feliu said: “Already we are reaching out to our customers locally to explain how they will benefit from the new, enhanced offering of Bedsonline.
“This includes improvements we have made by cherry-picking the best-of-class functionalities from the old TravelCube platform, as well as the expansion of our product portfolio to over 170,000 hotels and strengthened position to negotiate the best deals for our customers.”
Bedsonline integrated sister brand TravelCube’s customers into its bed bank last month as it refreshed its brand and website.
The move followed the acquisition of GTA, TravelCube’s parent, by Bedsonline parent Hotelbeds Group last year.
Alistair Rodger, director of retail travel agents at Hotelbeds, said: “Essential to this is having in place strong teams with unbeatable local knowledge and commitment to the best service possible for our purely travel agent only customer base.
“I’m certain that in Bell and Smith’s teams we have the best line-up available in the market.”
