The board of business travel professional body the Gtmc has been expanded with three new appointments.
The executive team has grown to 15 with the addition of Maria Baty, John O’Sullivan and Steve Barrass.
The move broadens the diversity of the membership of the board and ensures all sectors of the TMC community and their requirements are represented.
Baty was previously owner of Top Flight Travel Management and is managing director of Travel Leaders Group-owned Altour UK.
She has worked in the corporate travel sector for more than 25 years and has significant experience in training, development and account management.
O’Sullivan, managing director UK and Europe at Key Travel, heads one of the biggest TMCs in the not-for-profit sector.
The Appointment Group chief executive Barrass was previously managing director at Airtours and senior vice-president at Dnata Travel.
Gtmc chief executive Adrian Parkes said: “We are very pleased that John, Maria and Steve have agreed to join the Gtmc board.
“All three are exceptional business people who understand the challenges our industry faces now and in the future. I very much look forward to working with them.”
