The Freedom Travel Group has made three new appointments to its commercial team after Matt Harding was promoted to head of the consortium.
All three have joined from Thomas Cook, which owns Freedom.
Vikki Groves joins the management team as marketing manager, moving from the Thomas Cook cruise team. She previously spent six years at Holland America Line Cruises and has held a number of roles supporting independent travel agents.
Jacqueline Brookes also joins Freedom’s management team, as compliance manager. She also moves from Thomas Cook, which owns Freedom, and has 25 years’ industry experience. She will work alongside assistant compliance manager Shalana Smyth.
Freedom has also appointed Nicola Pilling to the newly-created position of assistant supplier partnerships manager. She moves from Thomas Cook’s commercial team and will work with commercial manager Jo Turney.
Harding, who replaced Kelly Cookes as head of The Freedom Travel Group after she moved to a commercial role at Thomas Cook, said: “I am thrilled that we have expanded our team with these great new appointments.
“After being with Freedom for over two years I have a good understanding of our membership and by expanding our team in this way, we can give even more focus to delivering the best service possible for our members and homeworkers as we continue to grow our business.”
