Norwegian Cruise Line to introduce new venues to two ships

Norwegian Cruise Line will add two new venues to Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Breakaway while they are in dry dock.

Both ships will have a new cinema and dining experience called Silver Screen Bistro added, as well as a new outdoor recreational concept called Horizon Park.

Silver Screen Bistro will be “an immersive movie and dining venue” for passengers of all ages and will replace the Spiegel Tent.

Horizon Park will provide a “versatile outdoor gathering space” with lawn-style games and reclining loungers.

Cagney’s Steakhouse and Teppanyaki will also be expanded, along with its ship-within-a-ship concept The Haven by Norwegian.

Part of the Observation Lounge on deck 15 will be repurposed on Norwegian Bliss to add premium top-tier suites with three bedrooms and a separate dining room overlooking The Haven Horizon lounge.

There will also be 24 more balcony cabins and two additional club balcony staterooms.

Norwegian Breakaway will also bring The Stadium, a complimentary outdoor activities concept offering family-friendly games from Prima Class ships.

The updates will be added to Norwegian Bliss from January 17 ahead of its Caribbean season, while Norwegian Breakaway will undergo refurbishments from February 19 before sailing its European itineraries.

Norwegian Cruise Line president David J. Herrera said: “At Norwegian Cruise Line, our guests and what they value most is critical in order for us to develop experiences. Our goal is to provide them their very own best vacation.

“From creating new concepts that offer more outdoor gathering spaces for making memories with friends and family, to expanding dining options that consistently bring joy to our guests across our fleet, we’re providing more to do and more to enjoy for all types of travellers.”
