Ikos Resorts has confirmed plans for its first property in Crete.
Ikos Kissamos is due to welcome guests from spring 2026 as the group’s eighth all-inclusive hotel.
The brand’s first all-suite resort will be set on a beach 25-minutes from Chania airport.
News of opening comes as Ikos marks its tenth anniversary this year with refurbishment of Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki (pictured), expansion of Deluxe Collection rooms at Ikos Olivia and Ikos Odisia in Corfu and new culinary and wellness offerings.
Refurbished rooms and suites to complement the updated main building as well as new restaurants, bars and a new garden entrance are planned for April at the group’s first property, Ikos Olivia, which opened in 2015.
The Deluxe Collection expansion follows the addition of new villas and four-bedroom penthouse suites at Ikos Andalusia last year.
A new restaurant and wine bar will open at Ikos Dassia in Corfu while dinner and activities for children aged four to 11 will be introduced across the portfolio in response to guest feedback.
