Industry leaders confirmed for Travel Weekly M&A event

Two leading travel executives have been confirmed as the first panellists for an exclusive Travel Weekly event focused on mergers and acquisitions in the sector.

The eighth Travel Weekly M&A Business Breakfast will take place in central London on Wednesday, November 10 in association with headline sponsor finnCap Group and White Hart Associates.

Confirmed panellists so far include Andrew Botterill, chief executive of Travcorp Holdings, which recently confirmed £3.7 million in equity funding; and Richard Singer, chief executive of Ice Travel Group, the new company formed following the merger of icelolly.com and Travel Supermarket.

The event is invitation-only and free to attend, with a waiting list in operation for those who would like to register their interest should additional places become available (see form at foot of page).

Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly Group, said: “The Travel Weekly Mergers & Acquisitions Business Breakfast has been a fixture of the events calendar for a decade, and I am delighted that it is returning following the hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The breakfast never fails to offer unrivalled insight from experts from within the industry and the fields of finance and M&A, and as we emerge from the pandemic it will be fascinating to hear our speakers’ views on the outlook for activity in travel and related sectors.”

The Travel Weekly M&A Breakfast will take place at One Moorgate Place in London, from 8.30-10.30am. If you would like to register your interest in attending, please complete the form below. A member of the Travel Weekly Events team will be in touch should additional places become available.
