Avalon Waterways has added another departure to its Storyteller Series itinerary programme.
US alt-rock band Sister Hazel will join the eight-day sailing from Mainz to Amsterdam on the Rhine, departing on September 6, 2022. Ports of call include: Bonn, Dusseldorf and Cologne, all Germany; and Arnhem in the Netherlands.
Passengers can attend book signings, concerts and Q&A sessions hosted by the band. Prices start from $3,899.
Other Storyteller Series sailings feature authors such as journalist and author Candace Bushnell; Gillian Flynn, who wrote Gone Girl; and satire writer Christopher Moore.
The river line’s Storyteller Series sailings are being offered on the Rhine, Danube and Seine.
Departing on October 30, 2021, the cruise with US author Diana Gabaldon, who is known for the Outlander series of novels, has sold out.
