Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Constellation resume sailings

Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Constellation have resumed operations for Celebrity Cruises.

Celebrity Reflection returned from Fort Lauderdal on Saturday, 600 days after disembarking its last passenger at the same port.

The 3,609-passenger vessel is sailing a seven-night voyage, calling at the Bahamas, Mexico, Belize and Honduras.

Celebrity Constellation restarted on Sunday from its new homeport of Tampa Bay. The 2,170-pasenger ship will stop in Belize and Mexico.

For the next six months, Celebrity Reflection and Celebrity Constellation will operate eastern and western Caribbean itineraries before repositioning to Europe.

Celebrity has now brought back 10 of its 14 ships this year, including Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Flora, Celebrity Millennium, Celebrity Silhouette, and Celebrity Summit.

President and chief executive Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said: “The past year has been one of remarkable change, but we can definitely say the announcement of the return of these two marvellous ships is a change in the right direction as we invite our guests back on board.

“The experiences our guests will enjoy aboard these beautiful new-luxury ships will provide the healing power of travel that we have all been seeking.”
