Preferred Hotel Group launches sustainable collection

Preferred Hotel Group has launched a new ‘purpose-driven’ hospitality brand offering “sustainable luxury getaways”.

Beyond Green is a range of 27 environmentally-conscious hotels, resorts, and lodges.

Participating properties include The Brando in French Polynesia, Xigera Safari Lodge in Botswana and andBeyond Bateleur Camp in Kenya.

Agents will be able to access all Beyond Green properties via new Global Distribution System (GDS) code LE, be linked to Preferred Hotel Group’s code, PV.

The brand’s sales team will host training seminars for agents keen to learn more about sustainable tourism and how to sell such properties.

Beyond Green launches with a website featuring content on each member property and a sustainable travel blog called Good Stories, as well as dedicated social channels.

“Today’s travellers are craving connectedness and renewal, and with this comes a new and profound sense of responsibility for taking care of personal and planetary health and well-being,” said Lindsey Ueberroth, chief executive of Preferred Hotel Group.

“As we look forward to new opportunities and possibilities, advisors will play a critical role in helping travellers live out their wanderlust daydreams in a way that prioritises holistic sustainability practices.”

Costas Christ, president of Beyond Green Travel, added: “The launch of Beyond Green answers that question for today’s travel advisors.”

Agents can earn 3% bonus commission on top of the standard 10% on bookings made by September 30, 2021 for travel up to December 31, 2021.

The Journeyer’s Pick Package applies to 15 participating properties and features the best available rate, a complimentary local experience and 5,000 I Prefer bonus points – Preferred Hotel Group’s member reward scheme.

Bookings must be made via the LE GDS code, Beyond Green website or call centre to qualify.
