n ABCHoliday Extras has appointed Neil Herbert UK sales manager. He joins from the Independent Holiday Company where he was managing director.n Hertz Europe has promoted leisure product manager Hugh Howden tokey account manager for leisure.
n Bob Schumacher has joined Continental Airlines as director of sales UK and Ireland. Schumacher was previously the airline’s director of cargo, Europe and Middle East.
n Lydia Boyd has joined long-haul specialist Bales Worldwide to the new position of conference and incentives sales manager. Boyd moves from Varig Brazilian Airlines where she was senior sales executive.
n Thistle Hotels has appointed Richard Adler national accounts sales director. He joins from Hilton International where he was head of major accounts for London and the south.
n Mike Shrimpton has joined P&OStena Line as senior national account manager responsible for major agent accounts.He held a similar job atCitigroup. The ferry operator has also appointed Paul Stones as new servicesmanager. He joins from outside the industry.
