n marriott opens new property in kimberlyThe Marriott Trickle Creek in Kimberly, British Columbia, opened on May 11, following the recent opening of Marriott Canmore, near Banff. Both properties are Residence Inns geared towards the leisure market. As well as offering ski-in/ski-out facilities, the Trickle Creek has 80 suites with self-catering facilities. Next year Marriott will open properties at Lake Louise, Burnaby, Montreal, Toronto Airport and Markham near Toronto.
n unijet partnership expands flight options
Unijet has expanded its flying programme with Royal Canada Airlines, with six UK airports offering flights to Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Vancouver. An economy return leads in at £289 for Toronto, flying from Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham or Glasgow.
