stage fright

A lesson on how not to deliver a speech was given by Copenhagen Airport’s finest, Stig Albeck, at the Independent Agents’ conference in Tunisia.

Stig stood up and gave us a half-hour advert on the airport.

Copenhagen Airport is boring enough without making the presentation totally irrelevant to your audience. If you’re going to talk about an airport, at least try to think of some way it can be of use to agents.

Nul point, Stig.

On the subject of stage frights, there has got to be a better way of rewarding convention hosts than playing a video at the beginning of day one and thenlistening to a speech from a tourism director.

Perhaps the next convention hosts could hold a quiz on the country with free T-shirts for the winners. Anything would be better than the current arrangements.
