Peltours adds hotel grading system
ISRAEL specialist Peltours has introduced a hotel-grading system in northern and central regions to end customer and agent uncertainty over the standard of accommodation. It has devised six classes in its newly launched brochure – tourist, superior tourist, moderate first, first, superior first and deluxe.
Marketing manager Darren Panto said: “Israel has no official star grading and there is always confusion when there is no standardisation.”
The operator, which has added five hotels in Israel, has based the categories on the OAG guide, hotel facilities and first-hand knowledge of Peltours staff.
In Eilat, single-parent family offers have been added at seven of the nine hotels, while five-night Jordan breaks have been replaced by four-night stays.
