Ansett’s Airpass cuts domestic flight costs

ANSETT Australia has cut the cost of domestic flights for international visitors with the relaunch of its G’Day Airpass.

Timed to coincide with the start of the Olympic Games in Sydney, the relaunch has introduced several shorter sectors (flights) which cost £40. In the past the cheapest flights were £95.

The pass, which must be bought outside Australia, covers 58 destinations. There are 13 additional destinations in New South Wales, which now has a total of 20 cities covered by the pass.

Passengers must buy a minimum of two sectors, which cost from £95 to £215 depending on the distance flown. Add-ons cost from £40 and passengers are permitted a maximum of 10 sectors. The pass can be bought with international flights on any airline departing the UK.
