BRITISH Airways chief executive Bob Ayling is to speak at the first annual Gerald Fernback Lecture hosted by ABTA Greater London Region on November 1.
The theme is agency/principal relationships and the role of travel agents in the 21st century. ABTA London regional chairman Allan Beaver said:”The development of a relationship fair to both sides is crucial for the profitability of both travel agents and British Airways.”
Entry is by ticket only, available free on a first-come-first-served basis.
The annual lecture has been established in honour of the late Gerry Fernback, a former Greater London Region chairman and president of United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations.
