Honourable conduct from CV Travel
We all have them – clients that phone for advice and availability and at the same time approach tour operators direct.CV Travel was great last week. I had spent ages looking for a suitable villa for a client and eventually found the right one with CV and phoned to book. Unbeknown to me, the client had held an option directly with them some time previously on the same property that I recommended (the tour operator’s staff also having spent time finding the right location etc). Though they had had no previous contact with me on this client, CV actually honoured Journeys a la Carte and paid the full commission – thank you. Our business is clearly appreciated. How many of the big operators would have done this? We know the answer.
