New Sheffield store to get cybermarket
HOLIDAY Hypermarkets is to install a cybermarket in its new Sheffield store which is due to open on July 13.The move is in response to client demand for the Internet facilities it already provides at its Cheshire Oaks branch.
The company said a cybermarket will be added to all 10 new stores set to open in the next 12 months.
They will also be installed at every existing store by the middle of next year.
A spokesman said the cybermarkets allow clients to book car rental and insurance on-line and browse holidays on the Web before booking their break with a sales assistant.
There are also two videophones connecting clients with Holiday Hypermarkets’ national call centre.
A spokesman said the videophone has been a big attraction as it allows clients to queue jump.
