Hoverspeed ties up with Keycamp to target park sales
HOVERSPEED has linked up with camping and mobile-home specialist Keycamp to launch a short-breaks brochure targeted at the family theme-park market. The programme features Disneyland Paris, Parc Asterix, Phantasialand and Europa Park in Germany, and Duinrell Theme Park in Holland with accommodation based on nearby Keycamp campsites. It also features a site in Picardy near Boulogne for visits to Nausicca, one in Normandy 35 miles from Bayeux, plus one 14 miles outside Paris.
Prices in July start from £319 for seven nights in a tent for two adults and up to four children under 18 years old sharing a tent, including return mid-week ferry crossing on any of Hoverspeed’s routes. A three-night break in a mobile home in July costs from £494. The fast-ferry operator has crossings from Dover to Calais, Dover to Ostend, Folkestone to Boulogne, and Newhaven to Dieppe.
A Hoverspeed spokesman said theme parks, along with short breaks, are a growing sector, while the camps make it an ideal choice for families on a budget.
