n britannic signs £5m computAcenter deal


Britannic Travel has signed a £5m contract to manage the business travel needs of Computacenter. Aseven-strong Britannic team will manage the account through an implant at the information technology firm’s Hatfield head office.


n abta member sun and city ceases trading


ABTA member Sun and City Holidays, of Harrow, has ceased trading due to insolvency. The association’s claims department is dealing with all enquiries.


n channel 5 supports thomson’s on-line aims


Channel 5 is providing£3m of support toThomson joint venture TheFirstResort.com. The television channel, which holds a stake in the on-line travel agent, will provide links from its Web site, pages on 5 Text and sponsorship. Advertising for the venture will start this month.
