Crystal offers on-line booking facility
AGENTS and customers will be able to book product from Crystal Holidays’ new 2000/01 ski brochure on the Internet following the launch of the operator’s Web site.Managing director Debbie Marshall said: “We are trying to offer a choice to agents and clients.
“The complete brochure is on the site, allowing people to check holiday details as well as for use as a booking facility.”
Marshall stressed however that the new on-line information will not replace the traditional brochure.
New to the programme are Internet cafes, called Cyberpoints, which have been installed at major properties.
“It’s an extra facility for guests,” said Marshall. “People want access to e-mail to contact friends and work or even to book next year’s ski holiday.”
The programme includes five new resorts – Fernie and Kimberley in Canada, Rauris in Austria and La Clusaz and La Rosiere in France where skiers can cross the border to the Italian resort of La Thuile.
Prices start at £309 for a half-board three-star hotel in Rauris in Austria from March 24.
Also new is Crystal Suggests, a feature offering advice on ski away days, skiing in two countries, cross-country skiing and its Winter Wonderland resorts which cater for non-skiers.
Crystal Ski’s Web site can be found at www.crystalski.co.uk.
Crystal’s brochure will be available on-line
