n shangri-la joins sky pearl club schemeShangri-la Hotels and Resorts has become the first and only hotel group to join China Southern Airlines’ frequent-flyer scheme, Sky Pearl Club.
Under the deal, members of the programme will earn 500 miles each time they stay at any of Shangri-La’s 37 hotels and resorts on a corporate rate or above. To celebrate the deal, Shangri-La is offering members double earnings per stay until the end of the month.
n Oberoi joins cathay’s
frequent-flyer plan
The Oberoi Group has joined Cathay Pacific’s frequent-flyer programme Asia Miles. The deal means that members can earn 500 Asia Miles each time they stay at one of the participating Oberoi Hotels and Resorts and Trident Hotels worldwide. As a special launch offer,members can earn double miles until October 15.
