Irish Ferries has teamed up with the Wales and West rail company to offer rail/ferry tickets from anywhere in the UK to Rosslare or other destinations in Ireland. Prices start from £25 return from Swindon to Rosslare or £40 from London. The price includes bus transfer from Carmarthen or Pembroke Dock railway stations to Pembroke dock.
n dfds seaways in tie-up with anglia railways
DFDS Seaways has linked up with Anglia Railways to offerrail-sail cruise breaks from London’s Liverpool Street station to Hamburg or Esbjerg. Prices start at £68 per person, including return rail fare from London to Harwich,two nights on the ferry in an economy cabin with buffet breakfast and a sightseeing tour. Three nights cost from£103 per person. DFDS is planning a similar product for people who live within a 90-minute radius of Newcastle to link with its service to Amsterdam.
