BAA and Expedia look at offering free massages
BAA and Expedia are considering offering free massages to passengers at key UK airports following a trial of the service at Gatwick Airport. The service was the brainchild of Gatwick’s owner BAA and on-line agency Expedia and was offered last week at the airport’s North Terminal.
BAAand Expedia is assessing the success of the venture and considering introducing it at other airports, including Heathrow, Stansted and Manchester. Expedia managing director James Vaile said: “Early in the morning people allocate more time for departure, especially families going on holiday, so they should have time for a quick 10-15-minute massage.”
